Welcome to our home!
Raising quality Labrador Retrievers in Holly Hill, South Carolina. We are located about 40
miles west of Historical Charleston, on a 20 acre farm, with several trails and dove fields.
We also have access to several managed and maintained duck ponds.
We field and obedience train our labs and enjoy spending as much time as possible with them.
They are very respected family members and are also the center of our everyday lives.
Our pups are placed as Handicap Assistance, Therapy Dogs, Cherished Family Members,
Valued Hunting Companions and Ultimate Sporting Dogs.
Our labs are never kept in unsanitary conditions or confined to a chain, and we do not expect
this kind of treatment for any Cedar Creek pup.
We want all of our puppies to have Happy, Healthy, Loving homes.
If a situation occurs, at anytime in your pups life, you find that you can no longer care for
your pup, we will gladly accept him/her back to the farm, "no questions asked."
Our labs have their Hips, Elbows, Heart & Eyes OFA Certified,
(please view results at the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals website at
www.offa.org )
we have also completed additional testing for
EIC (exercise induced collapse) and CNM (centronuclear myopathy) "Clearances."
All of our Labs are "White-Listed" (A Certified list of CNM cleared Labradors).
Please visit
www.labradorcnm.com to view a list of cleared Labradors
and a video of affected dogs.
We also receive CGC's (Canine Good Citizens Certificate) on all of our labs, once as a pup and
again as an adult to ensure a level, fun, loving, accepting, willing, loyal temperament.
You will receive copies of all Certifications.
We take great pride in our breeding program.  We do everything in our power to ensure that
you have a puppy that is Healthy, Free of Genetic Defects, Pleasing in Appearance and
Intelligent with a Good Attitude for Learning.
We ask that you come to visit our home on a day that you "Have Not" visited other
puppies. We try very hard to keep our puppies free of any airbourne diseases.
All puppies from Cedar Creek are conditionally guaranteed against Congenital Hip Dysplasia
and Hereditary Eye Disease for the puppies first 26 months.
If your pup develops Hereditary Eye Disease or Congenital Hip Dysplasia within 26 months,
we will refund half of the purchase price of your pup or
replace your pup (at no additional
cost to you) with an equal pedigreed pup, whichever
you prefer.
You are not required to return your pup to us. We do require the pup be spayed or nuetered.
If
you wish to return your pup, we will Guarantee that your pup will be
"Loved" and "Cherished" here on the farm for the rest of his/her life.
They are "always" members of our family and will "always" be welcomed home.
Our puppies have "constant" supervision and socialization from birth until they leave our home.
All puppies will have "24 hour" Canine Medical Attention from our
Resident Veterinary Technician/Certified Animal Care Specialist.
We are dedicated to our pups from the moment they are born. From that very moment they
will have "continuous care." They are handled every two hours and are "never" left alone for
the first 42 to 49 days of their lives. We feel like this is the foundation to our success in
producing such well rounded, intelligent, social, accepting pups.
Pups are introduced to collar, crate, gun fire, water (weather permitting), birds, people,
different sights, sounds and textures. Pups are taken to the field for walks daily.
Here at Cedar Creek all of our dogs stay on Heartworm Preventative Medication year around.
Our pups start their heartworm preventative when they reach 12 weeks of age and will stay on
it for the rest of their lives. We use
Heartguard Plus preventative and administer it at the
first of each month. This not only prevents Heartworms, it also prevents Roundworms,
Hookworms and Whipworms.
There is other forms of the medication,
Interceptor and Tri-Heart . All of which are very
effective in the prevention of Heartworms, Hookworms, Roundworms and Whipworms.
I would certainly recommend you keep your dog on one of these medications.
The cost is usually under $7.00 a month for a 65 pound dog.
